All I can say is She is Great Granddaughter number 6, and possibly an insignificant fact, her first name unintentionally also ends in the letter N as do the other 6 GG.
This makes my son Grandpa. Funny when our kids become Grand, WE become Great 🙂

Changes! Good? Bad? OR It depends on the day.
A little over a year ago I lived 35 miles from my closest relatives. Today within about the same radius (some much closer) I have 1 daughter, 2 granddaughters, 2 grandson, 6 great grand daughters and one great grandson, and a sister. Most days it’s great, fun and enjoyable :). Then there are those other days. Being human as I am, I like to have control over each of those days. HA! HA!

I very much am enjoying doing morning devotions with my friend. We have known each other for 25 years, and have served on church boards together as well as many ministry positions. We are both not only Grands, but Greats. her and her husband moved from Sun Prairie about 6 years ago. Like I said we enjoy our morning devotions, via the phone. Love starting the day in God’s Word. Better when you share the time with a friend.

After devotions I get to go pick up my 2 oldest great granddaughters K and 1st grade and take them to school. I enjoy it and it helps my granddaughter. She has 3 other littles. No reason for her to load them all up each morning. I just put on my jacket and shoes and walk out my front door and get in my car 🙂
My first 6 months here I threw, money, time and effort into helping her. It didn’t seem like it mattered. SO I ask God (might better had done that in the first place) 🙂 . He said Hope you tried to help them in the way you thought they needed help, now stop and listen and you will figure out their need.
*I enjoy it so much. I began each ride with this morning prayer.
Lord! Thank you for this beautiful day.
Help us to study and learn.
Be kind and respectful.
Help us hold on to the good, and let go of the bad.
* Don’t want them walking around life being offended by every little thing
Keep our family safe.
* In Jesus name Amen

Then I speak this blessing over them. (From the Old Testament in the BIBLE)
THE LORD BLESS AND KEEP YOU
THE LORD MAKE HIS FACE SHINE UPON YOU
,AND BE GRACIOUS TO YOU
THE LORD TURN HIS FACE TOWARD YOU
,AND GIVE YOU PEACE!
It has been 4 months and now they argue about who gets to say each prayer. It went from them reminding me to pray 10 ft out of the driveway, to them wanting to do the prayers themselves.

I know some people think this is pushing your kids to believe what you believe. I say we all make our choice. But come on parents let’s give them some options. Of course I think what I believe is right or I would be believing something else. If they don’t chose Jesus, they don’t, but I am certainly going to make that an option.
Last week one of them said Grandma Hope, Jesus is in the sun, to which I agreed. The other responded and in our hearts. Great Grandma Hope replied “He is if you ask Him to come in!” The response was unanimous… I want to ask Him Great Grandma Hope. So we did!

My Grief Share group begins this month. I have taken off the winter session. This new group is the 14th group I have facilitated, since my husband Jim passed away. December 2019. I have my team built up to where I can take off one 3 month session each year.
It is not always easy, but always rewarding. Proverbs 25:11 says they who refresh others, will themselves be refreshed. Many nights I go in tired, but every night I come out refreshed. It is great to know that you are where you belong, doing what you are supposed to do.
I AM BOTH BUSY & BLESSED!!!
Blessings! Thanks for reading!
