Recently as I have been driving around my new area, I realize that it has been good for me to see lots of new things. I think it helped me NOT feel lots of OLD! I know people say Oh don’t call yourself old. OK then I am un-young. I know people in their 90s that look at me and say you are so young yet. I guess when I look at someone that is 50 years I think and say the same thing.
I had a friend that used to call me a slick young chick. Years later when I was in and out of the hospital a number of times, he said “I knew you would be OK, because you are a tough old bird. 😊That’s the kind of old I mean.
But getting to experience new things, in new places renews my spirit. I think what it does is restore our wonder. We use the term Awesome for many things these days. To me it means things that make you say Awe!
Some of the things I see in my new world make me say awe.

The Amish/Midianite buggies have replaced the BIG tractors that used to slow me down on the road.
The farms aren’t acres and acres of crops, just smaller fields with things planted. A lot of swampy areas, not much rich dark soil and fields that go on forever.
Not big co-op herds of cattle. But I have seen a-few interesting herds. This buffalo farm/ranch is on the way to my favorite quite spot. Cherokee Park near Colby.

I remember the first buffalo I ever saw was on a school field trip to Marshfield Zoo. It is smaller now but still going. My great granddaughter had her Kindergarten graduation there.

We have probably all seen some rendition of the older lady in the mirror giving advice to her younger self. It’s quite thought provoking! What would you say?

- Not about the size of your bank account, or your butt, but rather the capacity of your heart to love and to care.
- People should never take second place to your stuff or the time spent to obtain or maintaining your stuff.
*You will never see a U-HAUL or American Van Line following the Funeral Hearst.
*Every item in a junk yard was at one time someone’s dream.
ALL WE GET TO LEAVE THIS WORLD WITH IS WHAT WE ENTERED WITH …NO-thing.
People are the only things that will one day leave this world. Have you put your time and resources there.
When I first looked at this picture, I admitted to having a few feelings of regret, thinking will I have that chance THEN I REALIZED YES!!!! I will and yes, I do.

The energizing part of being Nanny Grandma. Daycare coming soon 😊
We may wonder how did this old this happen.
ONE PHOTO AT A TIME 😊😊
