I am not to any degree a professional writer. But I do enjoy writing. I find it a great outlet for my many thoughts. I have lived 72 years, a long-time walking life’s path. I have like most experienced many bumps, breaks and bruises. Some self-inflected, others not so much.

My desire is to concentrate on healing, not hurt. But I can’t promise I won’t whine occasionally.

If something I write gives you strength to get up, brush yourself off, and keep walking, then this blogging adventure will have been a success.

Sprinkled in my writings will be my love for my God. Stories and struggles of my family. Memories of Missions trips, country childhood with horses, chickens, both parents and 19 siblings.

I kind of collect licenses.  Driver’s license, a Nurses license, Pastor’s license and Foster Parent license. Some are still current.

I am a widow of three plus years. I have 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 5 great granddaughters. I am blessed.
