My NEW friends…
I met 3 NEW people from my NEW town at 1 AM this morning, after I overshot the toilet stool. My dad used to say when your more out than in you’re most likely going to fall.
I think he was referencing a man in the Bible named Eutychus that was sitting on a windowsill listening to Apostle Paul preach, and he fell asleep and fell out.
Meanwhile back to the bathroom 😊 I reached out to grab something and the only thing that was in reach was a plastic shower curtain. Needless to say, that didn’t work out well. Now I didn’t break anything. Correction! I didn’t break any body parts. I, however, did shatter the safety glass on my bathroom scale, when I rapidly parked my behind on it, from 15-inch drop. It looked like a car windshield that was in a bad accident.
I may have/or may not have previously mentioned that I am on blood thinner, thus it looked worse than it was. But the only way to get up without increasing the number of small pieces of glass that were embedding themselves in my thigh and VERY upper thigh 😊 was to call 911 and have several people pick me straight up.
The bleeding looked much worse than it was, but I spent about thirty minutes while three total strangers picked many slivers of glass out of my VERY upper thigh and leg. The next day I felt a bit like I had road rash and of coarse bruising. But it could have been so much worse. I didn’t break anything. My pride took a bit of a hit, but I am up and moving (with very loose clothing.)
My 22- and 27-year-old granddaughters Kaci and Jatara were here. I said “Remember girls THEY SAY! It would be great to have Great Grandma Hope here, she would be such a great help.” 😊I repeated this statement when my granddaughter had to come and give my battery a jump TWICE! $500 dollars later, a new alternator, a new battery. It now starts and has 2 headlights. 😊
My dad used to say if you can fix it with money you really don’t have a problem.

My Granddaughter’s Wedding
May 3/2-25 Gabriel Hope Ann Bennett and Shane Radzwilowicz. I told her that never again will she mind it when they say, how do you spell your last name….is it 2 Ns and 2 Ts. BENNETT 😊

This is the Co. park where I married my granddaughter May of last year. I often come here for early morning devotion times. Autumn was with us that day.
These are my rhyming thoughts from one of those mornings.
God is faithful, in both Mercy and Grace
Faithful enough to give me a place.
Last year I married Jatara and John
In this same location I’m now standing on..
It’s gorgeous with the river, the tall trees so green
It’s quiet, yet birds sing, so much left unseen.
Probably many things draw me here
It’s been a handful of days and one full year.
Just one year and 15 days have gone by.
That memory makes me smile, that memory makes me cry.
My baby girl Autumn stood here with me
As we watched the same river, and admired the same trees.
Jatara just starting her journey as wife,
Autumn living the last days of her life.
So when I sit by this river, the trees and sun peaking through
It’s like a hug to my heart, knowing she’s been here too.

Blessings! Thanks for Reading!
