Yesterday was my daughter Autumn’s cancer benefit. One of the definitions of benefit is something that profits.
People profit, we benefit/profit in our hard times by the people that line our path. Like the movies where a person gives all they have, usually there is a physical component. They are always encouraged step by step.
I have no numbers, but financially it was beneficial😊.
So many of the teenagers that used to hangout at our house were there. Now they have reached, or are reaching the half century mark. Sometimes we just need those reminders that you were loved, you touched lives, what you did matters.
I have tried to teach my kids to *LOOK UP, and remember the God, that loves and cares for them. There is nothing in your life that goes unnoticed by Him!
*Look around at all he has created. There is healing in nature. I have my spots, as I am sure most of us do. That place, lake, wayside, river that just has that “ it is well with my soul BENEFIT”! If you don’t have one… it would be a great BENEFIT/PROFIT for you to find/discover one.
*I remind them to *Look at their feet, and take that next step. Just one more step. Do the next right thing.
But yesterday was a SHOW and TELL Day.
*Look out at all of those people lining your path. Here to cheer you on, with hugs, hellos, and tears.

I trust yesterday, Autumn, as well as the rest of my family had the cameras of our hearts going. I pray that our hearts took many pictures of those lining our paths.
Those forever Benefits.
It was a very long day….But it truly was A Benefit.
